Terms of Use

1. Principals, agents, and workspaces

A workspace is operated by an agent on behalf of a person or organisation we call the principal. The principal must be legally able to agree to these terms, meet X’s applicable age requirements, and have authority over any connected X account and payment method. The principal is responsible for its agents, credentials, instructions, and actions.

Keep agent keys, X authorisations, webhook secrets, and other credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect misuse, and rotate or revoke affected credentials.

2. What Post Ascent provides

Post Ascent provides hosted MCP and HTTP interfaces for monitoring selected public X accounts, finding public conversations, ranking timely opportunities, returning structured context and evidence, and preparing, publishing, or scheduling permitted X actions. Post Ascent does not provide a general-purpose writing assistant, guarantee growth or engagement, or replace the judgment of the agent or principal.

Post Ascent is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. X names, content, accounts, and services remain subject to X’s applicable terms, policies, display rules, and technical limits.

3. Acceptable use

• Use Post Ascent and X lawfully and in accordance with all applicable terms and policies.
• Do not scrape X, circumvent technical restrictions or rate limits, or use Post Ascent to recreate or redistribute a bulk X dataset.
• Do not use the service for spam, harassment, deceptive activity, platform manipulation, unlawful surveillance, sensitive-trait inference, or rights infringement.
• Do not use X content obtained through the service to train or fine-tune a foundation or frontier model.
• Do not attempt to access another workspace, protected content, private messages, or data you are not authorised to receive.
• Do not resell access, share agent credentials outside the principal's organisation, or use the service to provide a substantially similar hosted product.

4. X authorisation and actions

Connecting X requires the principal's express authorisation through X. Before an immediate or scheduled post or thread is accepted, the service must identify the connected account and show or return exactly what will be published and when. Confirmation locks that content and publication time. A material edit requires fresh confirmation. The principal or its specifically authorised agent remains responsible for the content and consequences of every action.

Post Ascent does not sell follows, replies, likes, reposts, or other X engagement. It does not automate direct follows in the initial product. Scheduled publishing is limited to original posts and threads. Automated replies are rejected unless the recipient first engaged with the connected account or clearly opted in, and only one automated reply is permitted for each initiating interaction. Cold automated replies are prohibited. Features that require approval from X will not be enabled until that approval is obtained.

5. Subscription and fair use

Post Ascent Agent is planned at $49 per month or $490 per year after a 14-day trial. The trial begins only after the principal connects X and authorises a payment method. The subscription provides access to the intelligence, monitoring, delivery, and safeguarded-execution service; it does not purchase or assign a price to any X action.

The planned fair-use envelope is one connected X account, 20 priority accounts, four broader opportunity scans per day, 75,000 public posts per month, 15,000 public profiles per month, 100,000 relationship records per month, 1,000 conversation lookups per month, two concurrent scan jobs, and three webhook destinations. Priority-account monitoring runs separately from the four broader scans. Ordinary API and MCP requests are subject to abuse protections rather than a published hard cap.

Usage is returned in machine-readable form. We do not impose automatic overage charges. When a hard limit is reached, an operation may be deferred or rejected until the stated reset time. A subscription renews at its selected interval until cancelled, subject to the payment terms presented before purchase. Statutory cancellation and refund rights are not affected.

6. Public information, outputs, and accuracy

Public X information can be incomplete, delayed, edited, removed, or wrong. Opportunity scores, classifications, momentum signals, and timing suggestions are assistive information rather than guarantees. The agent and principal must verify important facts and decide whether an action is appropriate.

Post Ascent may return post and account identifiers, links, limited public context, and derived evidence necessary for a requested capability. You must not remove required attribution, alter displayed X content, or use outputs to imply endorsement by an X user or by X.

7. Your content and our service

You retain ownership of content you provide. You give Post Ascent the limited permission needed to validate, transmit, and audit content for capabilities you request. You confirm that you have the rights and authority required for that use.

Post Ascent's software, design, branding, documentation, contracts, and service code remain ours or our licensors'. Except where an applicable licence says otherwise, you may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create a competing hosted service from them.

8. Availability and changes

Public information, X, infrastructure, payment services, networks, and beta software can fail or change. We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue a capability to protect people, comply with law or platform policy, control abuse, or maintain the service. Access to X-dependent capabilities may be removed if the required authorisation or approval is withdrawn.

9. Suspension and termination

The principal can stop using Post Ascent, revoke X access, cancel a subscription, and request workspace deletion. We may suspend or end access for material breach, security risk, abuse, legal requirements, non-payment, or conduct that could harm people, X, service providers, or Post Ascent. Where reasonable, we will explain the reason and allow export of appropriate non-restricted workspace records.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular growth or engagement outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Otherwise, Post Ascent is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities, third-party service changes, or actions chosen or authorised by a principal or agent.

11. General terms and contact

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver. A principal may not transfer its workspace or these terms without permission. We may transfer the service and these terms as part of a legitimate reorganisation, financing, or sale, subject to applicable law.
